Summary:
8-10th June 2012
Friday – Saturday = Mens and Womens pairs qualifiers
Sunday = Mens and Womens pairs finals & Mixed 4s qualifiers & finals

Summary:
15-17th June (volleyball all day on Saturday and Sunday)
Caters for ALL levels! From beginners to national level: mens – womens – mixed
Expected costs:
1) Customised t shirt £10-13 each
2) Accommodation Fri-Sat = camping. On Sunday night accomodation is optional at a hotel (4*) ~ £40/person (including BF)
3) Transport – needs sorting out individually but the options are:
flying from Standsted direct to Eindhoven (£60 return with taxes but only hand luggage) – you should also consider costs of transfer from warwick to Standsted airport (national express or minibus rental ad park at airport) and from Eindhoven airport to city centre (durect shuttle bus = 5 euros).
driving directly and using Eurotunnel or Norfolkline.com ferry
4) If you are playing (cause that is again optional…) ~ £10 each
It roughly comes out the same.

Firstly, thank you so much for joining us the volleyball sessions and the social events. It has been a great and amazing term up to this so far. Congratulations to the Warwick 1 and Warwick 2 teams for the winning of the 7th University of Warwick Mixed Volleyball Tournament.

Congratulations to our both Men’s and Women’s team again for winning the week 4 and week 5 matches. They are awesome right? haha. But most importantly thanks to the people who came to help during the matches. The club appreciated your help and your time. Besides that our Men’s team have been voted as “2nd of November 2011 BUCS TEAM OF THE WEEK”. A round of applause to them.

Week 2 – 3

Dear all volleyball lovers,

Firstly, a massive thanks to the people who came for the men’s, women’s training and clubnight session in week 2. It was great and amazing as you can see the pictures that have uploaded on the facebook. Besides that, I hope you guys enjoyed the CIRCLING and POP too. Soon there will be more social coming up at on and off-campus. So be ready and stay tune with the emails and events invitation.

Secondly, well done and big claps to our guys beating Aston University 3-0 yesterday. It was a very good start of the BUCS season and a round of applause to the women’s team as well although we lost 3-0 to Cambridge University, our girls fought very well and they will work even harder for the next coming match.

Lastly, a huge huge huge (you can see how huge it is) THANKS and LOVE to our supporters that came to cheers the both men’s and women’s teams. How about you? You weren’t there? You missed the good match! No worry as soon we will upload some videos of yesterday match on the website or facebook pages. You can view it from there. Hope to see more of you guys coming to cheer for our HOME matches.

A huge thanks to everyone who showed up on Wednesday’s Trials and yesterday’s Taster Session. It’s great to see that so many people are interested in playing volleyball and joining us in Varsity afterwards.
If you enjoyed your time with us please buy membership via warwicksport website or in the sports centre.

On Wednesday 5th Octoberwe have planned trials for those interested in playing for one of our teams. While on Thursday 6th October there will be a Taster Session.
